The cost to sponsor a child for one year of school is $420.00.
The breakdown of how that money is spent is as follows:
95% of the child sponsorship money goes directly to the school to educate and care for that child.
School Funding: Covers teachers, books, supplies and testing
Building Funding: Covers building of additional class rooms and repairs
Emergency Funding: Covers any health or natural disaster related emergency
Administration Fee: Covers web site, banking and transfer fees
Significance of One is run by volunteers who do not receive any financial compensation.
